Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, granddads, and “stand-in” dads (hey, they’re special heroes!)–may your tears be “macho” as you read the Hallmark and homemade greeting cards today.
For those whose dads are absent, or who have less than happy memories when this holiday comes around–I pray that you feel the strong and perfect embrace of my Heavenly Father.
It’s no surprise to Him that I wrote an acrostic…
F aithful, unfailing, forever-love.
A lmighty Creator; always available; abundant Provider, says, “Ask”.
T rustworthy, true to His Word; tender toward me.
H oly, Holy, Holy; high and lifted up—yet near as my heartbeat.
E ternal, and equally here and now.
R ighteous King, Royal Redeemer; returning for me—just as He promised.
